the base is embossed with the words ANIMVS ET VIS and to the rear of the figure group is an unidentified signature and stamp

Condition:

Damage to the arm and hand where it appears to have been broken off and then been reattached. Similar damage to the crest of the helmet. Assumed to have been a spear in the soldiers hand which is now missing. other more minor signs of wear such as scratching and small piece missing from panther's leg
